A Professional Photographer will provide photographic advice during your game drives on how best to capture great images during your safari. Tips regarding the best techniques to photograph wildlife (including birds), the terrain and cultural activities. If you are an avid photographer or have invested in new camera equipment for your safari the photographic guide will coach you, on how to you get the most out of your equipment, and the joy of capturing images, as well as providing editing guidance.
Colleen has accompanied many photographic and film documentary crew on an advisory capacity.
During early evenings or relaxing between game drives, your Photography Guide will happily sit with you and go over your day's captured images. Followed by a questions and answering session, to provide suggestions to help you create exciting images of your safari experience. Remember to bring lots of extra memory cards, batteries and a sturdy camera bag with lots of cleaning cloths. Prior to your Photography Safari you will receive a Fact Sheet to help prepare you.

Colleen has extensive experience in arranging and accompanying filming groups such as UK Holiday TV Programs (including 'Wish you where Here'), international publications and documentaries which have included the National Geographic coverage of Lions in the Maasai Mara, and other focusing on specific conservation efforts in Tanzania.

We provide up close opportunites to meet Naturalists and Conservationist during your safari, through our Specialised Safari Division. Colleen has gained valuable experience as a Photojournalist embedded on the ground with Anti-Poaching Units in Tanzania capturing the full extent of their activities, professionalism and unwavering dedication.
This is not for everyone (it can be dusty, trekking to some extent, and may involves basic camping under the stars - but you're assured of some of the most fulfilling experiences in your life time.
We will arrange prime moments within your safaris in which you can meet some of Kenya and Tanzania's dedicated Conservation Organisations, or individually focused Wildlife Study Groups. This can be added into your chosen safari at an additional cost, which is donated directly to the cause(s) you are interested in. Remember word of mouth is vital, sharing your up close and personal experience is a good way of spreading news about East Africa's dedication to safeguarding wildlife - which is a global heritage.
