We begin this adventure with the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, its savannah plains home to endless flora and fauna, forming one of the most extensive eco-systems in East Africa - spreading over into neighbouring Tanzania's Serengeti. It is famous for its 'Big Cats' and the 'Big Five' (lion, rhino, cheetah, elephant and African buffalo). But for us it is a mixture of the landscape, wildlife with millions of eco-systems interconnected. One of our major priorities is to ensure your experience is away from crowds as possible.
Onwards to Lake Naivasha or Lake Nakuru. The all encompassing shores of most of Kenya's lakes are teeming with birdlife (both residential and migratory). They dart into the clear waters for fish or perch high on outstretched trees, patiently watching and waiting. Their beautiful singing is a stark contrast to giant hippo's snorting loudly through massive nostrils, when not wallowing or quietly piercing the water's surface with their twitching ears and red eyes. Water is life and this is the perfect place to watch a multitude of species sharing the same space. A fitting example of nature's flawless jigsaw puzzle.
Africa's highest mountain - snow peaked Kilimanjaro, looms above Amboseli (affectionately known as 'Ambo'). It is home to some of the continents largest elephants that, for eons have paved routes from the cool marshes surrounding Ambo's dusty terrain up into the forested sanctums of Kilimanjaro close by in neighbouring Tanzania.

Bird life is abundant including flocks of Flamingo. Tree-climbing lions have been sighted in the the forested area below Flamingo Hill, but you really have to look.

Nature walks are available at properties located in sanctuaries or dedicated conservation areas outside of Kenya's National Parks.

Many extent their safaris to relax along the Kenya coast.
Snorkel among Kenya's vibrant coral world, alive with multicoloured petite fish. For the more adventurous there is scuba diving available, either within Kenya's shallow waters protected by a natural coral divide, or beyond, in a world teeming with even more remarkable sea life.
Depending on where you chose to stay, water-skiing, dolphin excursions, sand islands, paragliding and dhow tours on ageless Arabic boats still made and used to this day.
For those of you who wish to keep your feet dry enjoy a glass bottom boat outing to see Kenya's water-world below.
There are plenty more options including nature walks, bird watching and historical tours, depending on which part of the coast you choose.
